THE ENDOSCOPIC SUTURE SYSTEM

The OverStitch™ Endoscopic Suturing System is an advanced endoscopic surgery that allows doctors to place total continuous sutures through a flexible endoscope. With this new technology, there can be a safe approach to tissue endoscopically. The OverStitch™ system enables a wide range of less invasive solutions for your patients:

  • Flexibility to implement continuous and interrupted sutures allows the device to help treat a wide range of indications;
  • The curved needle design allows controlled depth of total and durable suture placement;
  • The Cinch design is fast and secure without the need for full surgical knots.

Overview

Fits proximally and distally to an Olympus Dual Channel endoscope, allowing endoluminal suturing in multiple applications. The OverStitch™ handle, mounted on the endoscope's control handle, drives the needle driver attached to the distal end. An anchor exchange catheter is placed in the main channel to manage the suture passage, while the secondary channel can be used to operate the atraumatic helix for tissue manipulation. Once the suture pattern is completed, a cinch device is unfolded to provide a knotless fixation.

GASTROINTESTINAL AND BARIATRIC SOLUTIONS

OverStitch™ Offers solutions for issues in the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, including closure fistulas, endoscopic submucosal dissections (DMEs), endoscopic mucosal resections (EMRs), and peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM) procedures to list a few.

In addition, doctors are utilizing endoscopic suturing for a variety of bariatric procedures, including Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG), Gastric Sleeve Revisions, and Anastomosis and Gastric Bypass Bag Revisions.
